The role:

To expand aggressively, starting with our home market in DACH and extending our reach across Europe, we're on the lookout for a strongly driven Head of Sales. In this pivotal role, you will take charge of and spearhead our sales strategy, drive revenue growth, and build a high-performing sales team.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
  • Lead, mentor, and scale the sales team, fostering a culture of success and continuous improvement.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders to ensure long-term partnership and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities within the ESG technology sector.
  • Provide insights into market trends and competitor activities to participate in drafting effective  business strategies.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive revenue operation strategies to support business growth and scalability.
  • Oversee the management of sales operations, marketing automation, and customer success platforms.
  • Design and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across all revenue-related functions, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Lead forecasting, planning, and budgeting efforts to achieve revenue targets.
  • Drive technology and system implementations to support sales and marketing effectiveness.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership experience in sales, ideally within the SaaS or technology sectors.
  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving team performance with at least 3 years of direct sales experience.
  • Proven experience in revenue operations, sales operations, or a similar role within the SaaS industry.
  • Good understanding of BizDev, account management practices in SaaS space.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels.
  • Strong motivation to drive strategy but also command the operations to achieve the strategic goals.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, marketing automation tools, and sales enablement platforms.
  • Fluent in German and English, with outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills.
